Darlene Christie joined the Tree Time Services team in May 2023 as the Financial Controller. She is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting and finance functions. Darlene is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) Degree in Business Administration, with a Major in Accounting that she obtained in 2002. Darlene also has a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation that was obtained in 2011.

Darlene has over 20 years progressive experience in finance related roles spanning a variety of industries. In these roles, she has been able to demonstrate an ability to influence strategic and business objectives and lead organizations to continuous improvements in financial reporting and financial planning. As a member of the Tree Time Services team, Darlene uses her experience to support the leadership team in achieving their fiscal strategies and objectives, and work collaboratively with other areas of the organization to provide meaningful information for decision-making.
